The Arc de Triomphe: very symbolic
The biggest arc in the world!
Located on the Place de l'Étoile, at the end of the Avenue Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe is the biggest Arc in the world. It was constructed in 1806, on the order of Napoléon, to celebrate the emperor's victory in Austerlitz.
Under the Arc you can find the tomb of the Unknown Solider. At the summit of the monument, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Paris, day and night, with two orientation tables.
